The Balance Inn Luston

, HR6 0EB

Located on the site of an old wool weighing station (hence the name) in the small village of Luston, The Balance Inn reopened in May 2016 following a major refurbishment. The owners have done a fabulous job turning the balance around the decor has had a makeover which was very needed!!

Lovely warm surrounding with comfy seating and a lovely fire which as you know is one of my favs in the colder months.

This public house has such a lovely friendly family feel where everyone is made to feel welcome local or not.

Ale and lager drinkers are very catered for, lagers on tap are Carling 4%, Cobra 4.8% and Staropramen 5% if you have not tried this lager before this is a must, lovely and smooth with malty flavours and bitterness served in a handled branded glass.

I have been to the The Balance several times but this was the first time for quiz night, the owner and quiz master have obviously put a lot of effort into this evening which runs once a month, very professional with a lovely fun atmosphere, I am now hooked and will be a regular quizzer (hopefully doing better next time) there is a money prize at the end which will ensure a good few more pints 🍺

There is a lovely outside space for us bad smokers in the winter or for sitting in the sun in the summer months and plenty of parking. If your very lucky you will get meet the resident cats and dogs. 🐾

I can’t recommend The Balance Inn enough great pub, great staff, great people and very well kept beer. There is also a reasonably priced menu, I have not eaten here myself yet but has been recommended to me many times so will definitely be partaking soon.

These guys should be praised for a great job bringing this pub back to life 🍺
Left with that warm feeling you get when your have had the best time with great people nothing beats it.
